After-School Service Seminar
In order to steadily promote the national policy of ‘reducing students’ homework burden and reducing the burden of off-campus training for students’, actively explore new ideas and practices of after-school services, respond to the urgent needs of the current majority of parents for after-school services, and strive to provide education satisfactory to the people, led by Principal Wang Changjiang, ten members of Three Stars School with Green Grass Education Group of TongCheng City came to our school on 2nd March to carry out after-school service exchange and discussion.
Initially, Principal Wang Changjiang and his delegation arrived at the east campus. In the conference room of the school, President Madam Huang Wenli extended a warm welcome to Principal Wang Changjiang and his delegation, and reviewed the cooperation and construction between Three Stars School and our school over the years, fully affirming the significant role of inter-school exchanges in the development of the two schools. On the other hand, Principal Wang Changjiang hoped that under the current background of the policy of ‘easing the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education’, the two schools would continue to strengthen exchanges, deepen cooperation, and make after-school service and other work more scientific and effective.
Furthermore, accompanied by Vice Principal Liu Bing and other school leaders, Principal Wang Changjiang visited Weilun International Kindergarten, the school history museum and Student Handicraft Studio, and had a detailed understanding of school philosophy, school achievements and the development of students' extracurricular quality activities.
After the visit and exchange in the east campus of our school, Principal Wang Changjiang and his delegation came to the west campus, who observed the after-school service activities in the west campus accompanied by Principal Assistang Hu Qilin and other school leaders. Later on, in the conference, the two sides made a detailed introduction to the after-school service work of their respective schools, and had in-depth discussions and exchanges.
In conclusion, providing after-school services for primary and secondary school students is not only an important measure to promote the healthy growth of students and help parents solve the difficulties of picking up and dropping off students on time, but also a livelihood project to further enhance the ability of education services and enable the people to have a greater sense of gain and happiness. More noticeably, through this exchange and discussion activity, the two schools learned from each other, and further broadened the working ideas, which would certainly promote the two schools to continue to do a good job of after-school service, and make education satisfactory to the people!
